Racism

 When England voted LEAVE, people felt they had the right to be racist against Europeans, especially East Europeans. When the virus from Wuhan hit the rest of the world, people thought they had the right to be racist against Chinese people. Now with the Indian variation of the virus, people think it's totally fine to be racist against Indians. (I didn't hear about any racism against South Africans though). Do racists actually realize that being a racist doesn't make them superior? Belgians are also experts at racism.  I am ashamed of being a Belgian right now and probably for some time to come.

Choices

Suicide is choosing the best of two horrible options really.. the difference is, one option keeps on going being horrible and the other option stops being horrible the moment you've chosen it. If that makes any sense to you.. if it doesn't, you've never been truly depressed. Don't mistake 'feeling sad' or 'feeling down' with 'being depressed'.

The World

I have never really been interested in the news or what goes on in the world but now I'm all like 'what is life like today..' as it changes every day.. And I feel the world has gone to shite too.. not just with covid but all this violence everywhere and the natural disasters... wtf is this.. In sci-fi movies, the future is never nice and bright.. I guess that is true.. The world only gets worse and worse..

Herd mentality

 Such stupid and gullible people on Facebook with the herd mentality again. Every news website is sharing an article about a young man who helped out a stressed out mother on holiday with the caption 'Hero young man helps out stressed out mum after Ryan Air charges ridiculous baggage fee'.  This young man is not a hero. It's just a decent thing to do when you can help someone out. I've done it in the past. I've paid for a mum's bus fare when she didn't have the exact amount of money, it was raining a lot and she had 2 little kids with her. I paid for someone's groceries when their card got declined. I didn't take pics to send to the newspaper. Nobody did. I didn't brag about it. It's just a good deed I did. The end. As for the stressed out mum, why go on holiday during a pandemic with three little kids on your own? Talk about being stupid. As for Ryan Air, it's a budget airline, which means they only charge you for your seat.  If you wish food and drink on board, they charge extra. If you want to take a suitcase, they charge extra. It's been like that for many years. That is why it's a budget airline. You only pay for what you actually use. Terms and conditions also clearly states fees apply. She probably had a bigger suitcase coming back from holiday than she left the UK. It's also common for airlines to charge bagage fees one way or both ways. Maybe she thought she had paid for both ways and it wasn't. Maybe she got herself a bigger suitcase on holiday for all her souvenirs. Fact is, it's no surprise that if your suitcase is too big for hand baggage i.e. it does not fit in the measuring frame, you have to check it in and pay the baggage fee, which is £50. Yes this makes your fare more expensive, but it will be the same you pay on commercial flights like KLM or Air France or whatever. Those tickets are baggage included. Ryan Air does not include baggage. Again, terms and conditions. I don't fly Ryan Air, but I do know this shit. She should've informed herself better but she sounds like one of those that don't pay attention to anything, does things anyways, then complains she's being 'mistreated'. Ryan Air is not charging a ridiculous fee. It's the same fee as other airlines. People are now commenting shit about Ryan Air and the hero young man and being appalled that the airline has no compassion during a pandemic to wave off the baggage fee. Hello, which rock have they been under? Do they think Ryan Air is not struggling? Why should they not charge baggage fee if she's got baggage? THINK McFly THINK. Sick and tired of the herd mentality. There's no hope for humanity. No common sense, no logical thinking.. no brain activity.. Bunch of zombies living their lives, following others blindly..

Humans

Humans should be at the bottom of the animal kingdom. Clearly they are beneath all other creatures. The most vile animal I've ever had to deal with has always been the human kind. Just thinking about human behavior vs animal behavior. Animals don't disappoint me, they don't let me down.

Aliens

If Aliens do come to Earth this year, there will be two possible scenarios. They see the state of the planet and how the inhabitants behave (primates) and will:

1. Leave and come back centuries from now.

or..

2. Wipe out all inhabitants and claim the planet.

Sadly there's no option 3 where they make peace with the inhabitants simply because humanity isn't worth it

Animal Instinct

My cat caught a bird. It was still alive and I tried to save it. Half an hour later it was dead. RIP little birdie. Though I know it's the cat's instinct to hunt and catch birds, I'm still very sad about it. Buried it in the garden and hope no other animals digs it up again. ✝ .

Lock-Down

If your only problem is being confined to your house/garden, unable to see friends & family, then you’re a very lucky person. So stop complaining and enjoy the PAID vacation you have. Some people are in lock-down without any salary coming in, without money in savings account, without the ability to go to the shops to buy what they need. SO SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT THE LOCK-DOWN!!

World Mental Health Day

It's World Mental Health Day and companies are posting pictures on social media asking to share it so that loved ones can see they care. 

Sharing a picture to show you're 'there for them' doesn't help. I suffer from severe depression and nobody actually cares. Nobody stops and thinks how they can help me in any way. I could be dead in my house for ten days and nobody would even notice. Instead of sharing a picture on social media once a year, people should just pay more attention to people they know and stop hiding until this person is more 'cheery'. 

In my experience, when you are in the deepest darkest hole and you see no way out, it is then that people distance themselves from you because they 'don't want that negativity' in their lives. Instead of helping, they just turn to other people who are actually bright and shiny. They let the doomed person suffer alone and don't return until this person has crawled out of that hole all by himself. But it doesn't take much for that person to fall right back in, when they realize nobody was there for them in time of need. Everyone just pretends they are supportive but nobody actually is. Can't be bothered.

Retaking a driver's test every 3 years should be mandatory for everyone. Just because you passed 15 years ago doesn't mean you are still capable of driving safely and properly. People are at their outmost best when doing the test. They pass, and the next day they are doing GTA on the streets in real life. Also people who have their music blasting out their car like it's a fun fair should be fined for noise pollution and endangering other drivers.

Meat

There's a page about dogs which just posted about the beef ban in India and it's flooded with comments of people supporting vegetarian / vegan saying millions of people have survived for thousands of years without meat. 

They fail to remember that vegetarians / vegans need to take food supplements to get vitamins and minerals which is only found in meat, and the fact that homo sapiens are omnivores by nature. If we were not, we would never have put a piece of buffalo in our mouths when we were neanderthals in the first place. If we were naturally vegetarians, we'd have the same diet as rabbits from the day the planet was formed and this wouldn't be an issue. Misusing your power as prime minister to declare an entire subcontinent 'vegetarian' violates the human rights and halts the freedom to choose to eat.

I don't ride a motorbike because I think it's dangerous and pollutes the air, so if I'm prime minister, I can ban all motorbikes. How many people would protest if the prime minister of the UK banned CARS because of pollution? It's the same shit. People have to stop pushing their own ideals onto others.

Compassion

I help people as much as I can, even if it means it will set me back personally. Unfortunately, the majority of people only help when they have something to spare. Even though they help, they only do so if it doesn't affect them in any way.  That is charity, but it's not compassion. Compassion is when you give even when you don't have much yourself, you give even when you can't actually spare it. And then there are people who rather just close their eyes and pretend then know nothing.

When we go to bed after watching a funny movie, we don't expect something funny to happen in our bedroom. When we go to bed after watching an action movie, we don't expect something to explode in our bedroom, so why is it, that after watching a scary movie, we DO expect to find something scary in our bedroom? It makes no sense.

Today I read this little piece in the newspaper and it made me change my view on traffic cops in India..

When an auto-rickshaw driver yelled at a cop 'I hope you will die in a road accident!' after being fined for failing to run the fare meter, he got a lecture in return from the smiling cop instead.
"Brother, please pray for the day to come soon. It's better than controlling traffic for long hours without rest or leave, and being abused and cursed by people like you. If I die on duty, my wife will receive insurance and my son will get a government job and everything will be fine." The rickshaw driver said sorry to the officer and left the scene in a huff.

Feelings

Husband told me last night that I have a good heart, because I helped a man search for his phone in a movie theatre; a man who had annoyed me earlier by texting during the film.  I don't know about the good heart, I just sympathized with him because whatever happens to another person, or an animal, I can feel it. I involuntarily place myself in his/her situation, and I feel what it is like. I feel what this person/animal feels inside and if it's a happy feeling, I am as happy as well, but if it's a horrible feeling, I need to fix it, for I don't want anyone else to feel it too. It may make me a sucker but that is how I am. I believe it's called being an empath.

Putting an omelette with tomatoes between two chapattis is the worst idea I've ever had. Never do this. It's horrible.

Lizards

Accidentally stepped on a baby lizard and it broke in half. Both parts were moving in opposite directions.  Then Millu the dog came and ate the body. I feel awful. I took a life :(

Cockroaches

How come cockroaches simply die in my kitchen for no apparent reason? In the morning, I find several dead ones every day. Why are they dead?

Watermelon

I have a little watermelon plant, and it was rude to me this morning.
I wanted to smell it because I don't know what a watermelon plant smells like. Every time I tried to smell it, it just bent away from me. So rude. I've never seen a plant bent at will in this way.

Suicide

I am the worst mother in the world. When two of your three kids attempt suicide, you're doing a bad job raising them. It is all my fault. I don't care if anyone tells me it's not, I know it is.

I am a bad mom. I was never fit to be a parent. Those kids deserved more.

People say you only have one life, but I think we have more lives. I think when one life ends, another one begins again, you just don't remember your past life. Towards the end of your life, you won't even remember your present life; how do you expect to remember it in your next life? Maybe people who die young or abruptly might remember flashes of it. Maybe you remember past lives in your dreams. You just dismiss  them as dreams.

16 y.o. girls always think they know everything in life and that they are always right. You try to explain something but of course they don't accept what you say, even if they know you're right, they still tell you that you are wrong and you don't know anything. Rolling eyes, slamming doors. When will I ever have peace..

My Mind

There's way too much on my mind. It's cluttered. It needs spring cleaning. What's on my mind.. How unfair is it that dogs can understand what we say, yet we don't understand anything a dog says to us.

I am mentally exhausted. I feel like I was awake all night, but I slept for 7 hrs straight. Facebook is poison. It drugs you on a daily base, bit by bit and you don't notice it, until your mind has absorbed so much of it you start getting sick. I quit Facebook.
