Muslims & Islam

I am very sorry for the people in Afghanistan at the moment, especially women and girls. It's very concerning. BUT I hate how the people in Europe here are now yelling about 'Islam' and 'that's what you get with a religion like that. I suggest those people take a good look at what Islam actually is. Why do people always think Islam = terrorism or vice versa. A terrorist may be a Muslim. That does not mean all Muslims are terrorists or religious assholes. There are plenty of Christian religions treating their women and girls just as bad as some Muslims do. Mistreating women and girls is not an 'Islamic trait'. The Taliban do not represent Islam. They do however follow the Sharia law to the letter, which is bad. In short: the Taliban are bad. Islam is not. Muslims are not.

Dumb

Everyone else is smarter than me. I feel like I'm probably the dumbest person on the planet.

Racism

 When England voted LEAVE, people felt they had the right to be racist against Europeans, especially East Europeans. When the virus from Wuhan hit the rest of the world, people thought they had the right to be racist against Chinese people. Now with the Indian variation of the virus, people think it's totally fine to be racist against Indians. (I didn't hear about any racism against South Africans though). Do racists actually realize that being a racist doesn't make them superior? Belgians are also experts at racism.  I am ashamed of being a Belgian right now and probably for some time to come.

Choices

Suicide is choosing the best of two horrible options really.. the difference is, one option keeps on going being horrible and the other option stops being horrible the moment you've chosen it. If that makes any sense to you.. if it doesn't, you've never been truly depressed. Don't mistake 'feeling sad' or 'feeling down' with 'being depressed'.

The World

I have never really been interested in the news or what goes on in the world but now I'm all like 'what is life like today..' as it changes every day.. And I feel the world has gone to shite too.. not just with covid but all this violence everywhere and the natural disasters... wtf is this.. In sci-fi movies, the future is never nice and bright.. I guess that is true.. The world only gets worse and worse..
